Introduction

Josoor is a business networking and sourcing platform provided by Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi – KEZAD Group – LLC (the Company, we, us or our). These terms apply to the Josoor website and the platform services made available to you. Read them together with our Privacy Policy and any specific conditions presented for a service.

By using Josoor, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service. Where you act for a business, you confirm that you have authority to represent it and to accept the obligations relevant to its use of Josoor.

General

Josoor helps businesses discover products and services, connect with other businesses and, where available, exchange sourcing requests and quotations, communicate, access learning resources and participate in events. A description of a feature does not mean it is available to every user. Access may depend on registration, business verification, permissions and the service currently offered.

We may revise these terms and update the date shown above. Please review the current version when using Josoor. Additional terms communicated for a particular service apply to that service; they do not remove rights or obligations that applicable law makes mandatory.

Business accounts and access

Provide accurate, current information about yourself and the business you represent. Use the registration and verification processes honestly, supply documents you are entitled to share and notify us of material errors or changes affecting your access. Registration or verification does not guarantee approval, continuing access or any business opportunity.

Keep account credentials and verification codes secure. Do not share access with an unauthorised person, impersonate another user or use another business’s identity. Tell us promptly at ask@josoor.ae if you suspect misuse. You are responsible for activity you authorise through your account and for ensuring that your colleagues use their permitted access appropriately.

Sourcing and business dealings

Josoor provides tools for businesses to communicate. Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, the Company is not a buyer, seller, broker or contracting party to a transaction between users. A profile, listing, verification status, search result or introduction is not a recommendation or guarantee of a business, its creditworthiness, its goods or its performance.

Before entering a transaction, independently check the other party, product specifications, quality, availability, licences, authority, pricing and any applicable tax, customs, export, import or other legal requirements. Buyers and suppliers are responsible for agreeing their own commercial contract, payment arrangements, delivery, acceptance, warranties and dispute process.

A sourcing request or quotation exchanged through Josoor does not, by itself, establish that the Company has accepted an order or guarantees a deal. Observe any deadlines, confidentiality requirements and additional request conditions communicated between the parties. Do not upload payment-card details or send money merely because a message claims to originate from Josoor; verify any payment request independently.

Your content and communications

You remain responsible for profiles, listings, requests, quotations, messages, documents, images and other material you submit. Ensure that it is accurate, lawful and within your authority to share. Obtain any necessary permissions from colleagues, customers, rights holders and other people whose information appears in it.

You retain rights in your own content. You authorise the Company and its service providers to host, copy, format, transmit and display that content as reasonably required to operate, secure and support the features you use and the audience served by the relevant feature. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to us.

Choose what you share carefully. Business profiles, listings and sourcing material can be seen by other users according to the relevant feature; messages and attachments are made available to their recipients. Do not submit confidential, sensitive or third-party personal information unless it is necessary and you have authority to disclose it. Recipients may retain information you have already shared.

If a feature assists with drafting, rewriting or translation, check its output before submitting or relying on it. Automated assistance can contain mistakes or omit important context. You remain responsible for the meaning, accuracy and suitability of the final material.

Intellectual property and copyrights

The Josoor service, its branding and materials supplied by the Company or its licensors remain their property. Access gives you permission to use the service for its intended business functions, not ownership of those materials. Obtain permission before reproducing or commercially exploiting protected material outside those functions, except where the law permits otherwise.

To report suspected infringement, contact ask@josoor.ae with your contact details, an explanation of your rights, the location of the disputed material and supporting information. Submit reports honestly and only where you are entitled to make the complaint.

Restrictions

Do not use Josoor for fraud, unlawful trading, discriminatory or abusive conduct, misleading listings, unsolicited bulk messaging, malware or infringement of another person’s rights. Do not submit unlawful products, false documents or confidential information you are not authorised to disclose.

Do not bypass access controls, probe or disrupt systems, scrape or harvest personal or business information without permission, or interfere with another user’s access. Do not copy or resell the service or exploit its protected materials without authorisation. These restrictions do not prevent genuine business promotion, listings or communications through the features provided for that purpose.

We may restrict access or remove material where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security concerns, legal requirements or breaches of these terms. Suspension does not cancel obligations you have already undertaken to another business. Contact us if you believe your access or content has been restricted in error.

Information, external services and availability

Check information before relying on it. Content may become outdated, and third-party submissions have not necessarily been independently checked. Learning material, assisted text and general information are not professional advice tailored to your circumstances. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every error will be corrected immediately.

Links, identity services and third-party services may have their own terms and privacy notices. Follow those notices when using them. A link or integration does not make the Company responsible for an independent provider’s statements, services or business dealings.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by applicable law, the service is provided without a guarantee of commercial results or fitness for a particular business need. The Company and its affiliates, officers and employees are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of Josoor, including lost business opportunities or anticipated profits. Nothing in these terms excludes a duty or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use, your infringement of another person’s rights or your breach of these terms. This does not make you responsible for loss attributable to conduct for which the Company is legally responsible.

Assignment and governing law

The Company may transfer the administration of these terms as part of a lawful transfer or reorganisation of the service. You may not transfer your account or obligations without our agreement. The laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi govern these terms, subject to any mandatory rules that apply.
