Cookie Policy

About this policy

This policy explains cookies and similar technologies used in connection with the Josoor website, operated by Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi – KEZAD Group – LLC (the Company, we, us or our). Read it with our Privacy Policy, available through the footer, which explains how personal information is handled and how to contact us about your rights.

Technologies vary by page, feature, browser and choices. Linked applications and external services may have additional notices and controls. This policy does not provide a complete inventory of every cookie or technology.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored in your browser that can recognise a browser, maintain a session or remember a choice. Local storage retains information between visits; session storage holds information for a tab session. Scripts, pixels and resource requests can also send technical information without storing a cookie.

These technologies may involve IP addresses, device and browser information, visited pages, referrals, timestamps and identifiers. Information that identifies or can be linked to a person is handled under our Privacy Policy.

Purposes and consent categories

The consent panel lists Necessary, Functional, Analytics, Performance and Advertisement. Necessary technologies support operation, security and consent choices; this category is marked Always Active. Functional technologies support preferences and additional features. Analytics and Performance concern visits, content usage and technical performance. Advertisement covers advertising-related measurement or personalisation where used.

A listed category does not mean every technology in it is present on every page. An empty category is not proof that no third-party processing occurs.

Preferences stored by Josoor

CookieYes provides the website's consent interface for recording your choices. Josoor also uses app.theme in local storage to retain your light or dark appearance choice until changed or cleared. The app.lang-transition session-storage entry temporarily supports movement between English and Arabic and is removed as the destination page loads.

These display settings are separate from advertising preferences. Clearing site data can remove saved choices and make the consent notice appear again.

Security, maps and media

Forms use Google reCAPTCHA to help distinguish legitimate activity from automated abuse. Google states that reCAPTCHA sets the _GRECAPTCHA cookie for risk analysis. The service may process technical information when it loads or is used. Blocking it may prevent form verification or submission.

Google Maps is embedded on contact pages. Website video files are delivered through WordPress.com/Automattic infrastructure. Providers receive connection information needed to deliver these services and may use additional technologies under their own notices. This does not mean every video sets cookies. See Google's notices at https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://policies.google.com/terms, and Automattic's cookie notice at https://automattic.com/cookies/.

Audience measurement

The website includes Parse.ly and WordPress.com/Jetpack measurement scripts. These services support reports about visits, referrals and content usage. Depending on configuration, measurement can involve cookies, browser storage or requests carrying technical and usage information, such as page and referring URLs, browser details, timestamps and IP addresses.

Their presence does not establish that every visitor is identified by name or that all measurement is controlled by the consent panel. Automattic's privacy notice is at https://automattic.com/privacy/.

Managing your choices

Open the floating Consent Preferences control to revisit the cookie panel. It provides Accept All, Reject All and Save My Preferences, with category controls where available. Necessary technologies are shown as always active. Use these controls to change your optional preferences, including withdrawing consent where consent is the basis for processing.

Your browser can also block or delete cookies and clear site data, including local storage. Browser controls may be needed for technologies outside the panel and can affect maps, preferences or form verification. Choices may need to be repeated for another browser, device or service. Changing settings does not erase information previously collected; send privacy requests to ask@josoor.ae.

Duration and third parties

Session information normally ends with the relevant browser or tab session. Persistent cookies remain until expiry or deletion; local storage can remain until cleared or overwritten. Durations vary by service and configuration. Browser-storage lifetimes are separate from retention of server records. Review providers' notices for relevant details.

Providers may process information outside your country, subject to the applicable arrangements described in our Privacy Policy. This policy does not give external services permission to disregard your choices or applicable law.

Contact and updates

For questions about cookies, controls that do not work as expected, or privacy requests, contact ask@josoor.ae. We may update this policy as services or requirements change; the date above identifies this version.
