Gulf Compound Blending & Ind. and G.C.B. General Trading were established in 2018 with the following partners: • Met T&S Management, English subsidiary of NextChem Group • P2 Polimeri, an Italian company dedicated to developing new business opportunities with the main Petrochemical players • Polyme General Trading, an Abu Dhabi based company of the Al Nowais Family dedicated to investing in new business opportunities Petrochemical sector • The main partner of the project is the company M.Cecchi & Co. with extensive re-processing know-how for more than 30 years in the polymers market. In October 2022, GCB started its own production in the plant sited in KEZAD, Abu Dhabi. The industrial facility processes a dry compounding of “near to prime”, post-consumer, post-industrial waste, and recycled polymers with additives. This allows us to obtain high value-added qualified polymer products for specific industrial applications thanks to continuous inspections in the laboratory, which certify the homogeneity of the products and their chemical characteristics.
